2nd Annual Nashville Blogger Bash
July 26-28 we hosted our 2nd Annual Nashville Blogger Bash and had such a great time connecting with bloggers and exchanging information.
We opened the weekend with a kick-off mixer at Draper James where guests enjoyed light, locally made sweets from A Sprinkle of Sweets, and drinks from Blackleaf Vodka and Deep Bay Spirits.
It was wonderful seeing so many bloggers meet each other for the first time and become friends for the weekend. Many of our speakers were in attendance which gave attendees the opportunity to meet with them and set expectations for their classes the next day. A video recap of our kick-off is available via Facebook thanks to The Vi-vid Experience.
The second day of our blogger weekend took place at Nossi College of Art. The talented women on Grandma’s Charm brought our greenery theme to life throughout the college and also created several fun photo sets for attendees to enjoy.
We opened up the conference with a keynote from Canadian volgger + talk show host Michelle Ferreri. Michelle was an open book about her journey of becoming a full-time vlogger and entrepreneur. She spoke to attendees like friends and gave them honest, no-bs pointers for making a serious pivot into full-time content creation entrepreneurship.
After our keynote our bloggers built their own schedules and attended education sessions, took photos, got massages + beauty treatments, and enjoyed a glass of wine from Lapis Luna. Almost all of our speakers and presenters stayed around the full day and gave attendees the opportunity to ask specific questions and get personalized assistance.
We loved all of the classes and the diversity of information being shared, however, the panels created an open and safe space that we truly hold dear. We have our own full circle moment during the Style Blogger panel where Marie Denee, creator of The Curvy Fashionista, had a heart to heart with one of our followers who wasn’t sure that blogging and the blogger bash was for her. It honestly brought tears to quite a few eyes int he room.
Nashville Blogger Bash weekend closed with an intimate brunch at Nashville hidden gem, Trimble House. Grandma’s Charm did an another amazing job creating an indoor garden brunch making sure to add a little detail in every corner. Brunch allowed our guests to slow down for awhile and discuss their goal with each other. We heard so many great conversations from bloggers sharing advice and giving encouragement.
Brunch was keynoted by Brooke Wilkerson of The Coffee and Chaos blog. Brooke shared her candid story about failing at her first blog attempt and finding success after letting go of perfection.
Huge thank you to all of our speakers, vendors, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. We honestly couldn’t have done any of this without you. To our attendees we hope that you all had a great time and look forward to seeing you back next year.
